Synopsis

“Bharathi” The story of a little girl — ‘Bharathi’ presents the rich dimensions of a 10-year olds imagination and her childlike expression of it. Written more than 30 years ago by Shri. Vijay Tendulkar, the play is still relevant and touches a chord with every reader. The play has been adapted to Tamil by Yadartha K. Penneswaran. Penneswaran, a Delhi-Based Tamil writer known for his theatre group “Yadartha”.
Set to music by the popular film music director Ramesh Vinayakam, Bharathi’s script offers many layers that can be explored through the dimensions of music, lights, sets and sound effects, and as a Shraddha production it promises to leverage each and every one of them.

With children playing major roles, ably supported by a host of other actors and back stage crew. Members of Mactrics Mime and Body Theatre group enhance the presentation with their unique skills.
